We are supplier and manufacturer of worm wheels. The offered worm wheels are components of a worm gear system. The worm shaft is a cylindrical shaft with a helical thread called the worm, while the worm wheel is a gear with teeth that mesh with the worm. The interaction between the worm wheel creates a compact & highly efficient gear arrangement, typically used for high torque applications. The design allows for a large reduction ratio & a self-locking feature, preventing the backward rotation of the driven mechanism. Worm wheel setups are found in machinery, conveyors, & automotive steering systems.
