Toughened glass is significantly stronger than regular glass of the same thickness. It can withstand higher impact forces and is less likely to break under sudden loads. It has higher thermal resistance compared to normal glass, making it suitable for applications where temperature fluctuations occur, such as in oven doors, shower cubicles, and glass table tops.
