Our thinner is well-proven in the market for its efficacy and durability. It is used to thin oil-based paints or clean up after they have been used. They can also be used to dissolve tar and other substances. They are typically mineral spirits with a flash point of around 104F (40C). They are created from hydrocarbons left over following petroleum distillation.
