It is made from pure clinker, which is a carefully proportioned mixture of limestone and other raw materials that are ground into a fine powder. The clinker is then heated to a high temperature in a kiln, where it undergoes a chemical reaction called clinkerization. The resulting clinker is then ground with gypsum to form OPC cement. It is also resistant to chloride and sulfate attack, making it a good choice for use in coastal and other areas with aggressive environments.
